350 striking miners in Goderich have had enough. They’ve put a blockade at the entrance of their former employer, blocking all replacement workers from entering the mine. The
blockade, made up of wooden pallets, people, and trucks, will remain until Compass Minerals comes back to the table to negotiate, says Local union President, Gary Lynch. The blockade is peaceful, but OPP are on scene, keeping an eye on things. The miners have been on strike since April 27th.
